Snow geese on the water

LOCATION

Our hunting zones are located right in the middle of the Central Flyway, and have plenty of wetland and farmland for the birds to stop at on their way south. Most of our hunts are within 20 minutes of the lodge.

EXPERIENCE

Our guides are both lifelong hunters with years of guiding experience. Reg has been hunting and outfitting for waterfowl, deer and bear for over 20 years. Randy is an active trapper and bird hunter, as well as a retired National Park warden.

HOSPITALITY

After an early morning or afternoon hunt, we return to the lodge where the guides, cooks and hunters all eat together. Almost everything served is scratch-made, from waffles with homemade berry syrup, to fresh bread and deserts. We employ two wonderful cooks, Tanis and Brenda, who’s culinary talents and personalities are always a big hit with our guests.

FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED

Reg and Tanis started Big Bend over 20 years ago. Now their daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Adam (center) have moved home to take over the business. Both Adam and Rebecca grew up in the area, and are excited about the chance to move home and raise their son here.

Third Generation?

We’ll see!
